The Opel Blitzbus Ludewig “Aero” (1937) was a German bus of the mid-1930s. It was built by the coachbuilder of the Ludewig brothers on the chassis of the well-known 3-tonne Opel Blitz. The bus had a rather elegant appearance and was used as an express bus for passengers between cities and also for propaganda purposes. After the start of World War II, at least one such car was seized by the Wehrmacht and used on the Eastern Front as a means of transport for Wehrmacht officers.
