The HMS Belfast is a former warship of the Royal Navy. The ship is one of ten Town-class light cruisers built for the Royal Navy in the 1930s. The HMS Belfast fought in the Second World War during D-Day and in the Arctic (where the ship took part in the hunt for the Scharnhorst), and later also during the Korean War. Today the ship is moored in the Thames in London, and has been converted into a museum ship as part of the Imperial War Museum.
